Construction and how it works
The flat membrane switch is the simplest and most robust membrane construction. The graphic overlay is completely flat and key areas are defined by printing alone. With no embossing or gaps to trap dirt, the surface wipes clean in a single pass.
Graphics are printed on the reverse side of the polyester or polycarbonate film, so they cannot wear off in use. The slim stack sits almost flush with the device housing.
