Construction and how it works
A metal dome is a dome-shaped stainless steel spring placed over the circuit. When the key is pressed, the dome collapses at a defined force, gives a crisp snap and closes the circuit.
Combined with a flat overlay, it delivers an easy-to-clean surface with tactile feedback close to a mechanical key. Dome diameter and force are selected per application.
